Here’s a verse:

“This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” (1 John 5:14)

Read very carefully.

A great truth is revealed here:

Only if… According to…. Our desires? No!

…. But… “His Will”.

P/S:

Therefore, before one asks for anything, we must ensure that it is His Will too in order to receive it from Him.
