Ego = Pride

A quote from the world reads:

‘Ego is a race and in this race, the winner is the loser’.

“Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly, he will not be unpunished.” (Proverbs 16:5)

P/S:

One is only allowed to be proud of God’s Good Deeds (may ‘boast’ of God’s Greatest Acts):

“but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 9:24)

Note: Even us knowing parts of His Great Truth is not of us but another one of His Awesome Acts for “He chose to reveal it to us” (graciously) and NOT that “we found out of it by ourselves”:

“At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.” (Matthew 11:25)
