Evil – The Problem of Evil?

God allowed evil as a choice in this present time as the “Vanity” (KJV) or “Futility” (NASB) Creation is subjected to (Romans 8:20, Ecclesiastes 1:14, Ecclesiastes 1:2, 1 Corinthians 15:27) but He has Promised to Deliver ALL Creation (Romans 8:22) eventually from it by HIS WILL which is GOOD-only-DELIVERANCE (Romans 8:21, 1 Corinthians 15:28, Isaiah 46:10).

God in His Wisdom has the ability to allow creation to have a choice in such a way that only Good is influenced by Him (James 1:17) even in the cases of temptations too (1 Corinthians 10:13) and that He does NOT influence Evil at all (James 1:13).

Hard for us to understand ‘how God is able to do it like that’ but Scriptural Truth testifies to this when these Verses (quoted in brackets above for each claim made) are taken “as it is Written” even if ‘we are unable to comprehend it’ (John 1:5, Psalm 5:4, 1 John 1:5).

The Judgment part is God giving back their own evil back to themselves be it here on earth or in the afterlife at Hell (Isaiah 3:11, Galatians 6:7).

For example, the ‘babies dashed on the rock Judgment’ (Psalm 137:9) is given to them ‘that did that FIRST toward OTHERS’ (Psalm 137:8) as the Consecutive Verses (in Brackets here) prove this Fact Irrefutably.

There is NOT one Case where a terrible Judgment was done toward ‘good people’ who ‘first didn’t do those type of things toward others’.

No point in arguing that those babies were innocent because so were the babies they DASHED FIRST unto the rocks (that’s the idea of Judgment – equality – eye for an eye).

That’s a great reason why Hell exists and if anyone think he has done no ‘hurt’ or evil toward others in any way, then he need not fear (if he is speaking the ‘truth’ – that DAY will DECLARE it with FIRE – 1 Corinthians 3:13).

If any man thinks those Judgment were cruel on Judgment Day —> for argument sake —> suppose his daughter is raped and killed or smashed as a baby on the rock, would he be ‘happy’ to ‘forgive the perpetrators’ just like that?

If he says yes, may time be turned around and him be the one that is ‘raped’ and ‘smashed’ unto the rock (God can turn back time – and make you the ‘substitute’ – we shall ask Him on Judgment Day).

Creation (including the ‘gods’ – Psalm 82, Ephesians 6:12) influence each other for ‘evil’ (2 Corinthians 4:4. Revelation 20:2, Revelation 12:9).

Another Fact is that the ‘blood’ of the ‘innocent ones who have perished FIRST’ in the hands of such perpetrators is the one asking VENGEANCE which will be granted accordingly (the whole Idea of the Terrible Judgment of God – Revelation 6:10).

If you have never done such things toward anyone, you won’t incur such a Judgment (Isaiah 3:11).

Only His Blood Shed Innocently will NOT be used for Revenge and Hence He FORGIVES the WHOLE WORLD eventually (1 John 2:2, John 1:29, 1 Timothy 2:6) by RECONCILING ALL CREATED THINGS back to Himself (Colossians 1:16 with Colossians 1:20).

Please note the WORD —> His BLOOD —> Carefully in Colossians 1:20 to ‘realize’ this often ‘missed’ Truth (The POWER of HIS BLOOD is RECONCILIATION).

Conclusion

“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.” – apostle James (James 1:13, NASB)

“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 10:13, NASB)

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” – apostle James (James 1:17, NASB)

“The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” – apostle John (John 1:5, NASB)

“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.” – apostle John (1 John 1:5, NASB)

“For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.” – king David (Psalm 5:4, NASB)

” … God Standeth in the congregation of the Mighty; He judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.” (Psalm 82:1 – 2, KJV)

P/S: Joy made FULL

“You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent ahead of Him. ’He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” – John the Baptist (John 3:28 – 30, NASB)

False Prophets – Test of Doctrines – Who is Speaking the Biblical Truth?

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” – apostle Paul (1 Thessalonians 5:21, NASB)

Yes, we need to be “noble minded” like the Bereans (“no” blind faith):

“Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.” (Acts of the Apostles 17:11, BSB)

Example: No Remarriage for the Divorced.

The Shepherd of Hermas also testifies to this same Rule as it is found in the Gospels.

Verse:

“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 16:18, NASB)

A Proper Exegesis:

“1[29]:5 “So long as he is ignorant,” saith he, “he sinneth not; but if the husband know of her sin, and the wife repent not, but continue in her fornication, and her husband live with her, he makes himself responsible for her sin and an accomplice in her adultery.”

1[29]:6 “What then, Sir,” say I, “shall the husband do, if the wife continue in this case?” “Let him divorce her,” saith he, “and let the husband abide alone: but if after divorcing his wife he shall marry another, he likewise committeth adultery.” (Shepherd of Hermas)

How does it Prove the Love of God?

True Love (Agape) has nothing to do with the “flesh” (which the earthly marriage is about, Genesis 2:24) -> where the “flesh profits nothing spiritually” (John 6:63).

So, by “obeying His Blessed Commandment” not only you ‘spare yourself of possibile Hell’ but also ‘you spare that divorced person whom you wish to marry’ from possible Hell too.

Also, you can Love (Agape) a person without marrying them as ‘no Love (Agape) is Greater than a Friend’s for the Gospel, right (John 15:13)?’

A married couple can be friends as well but marriage is NOT a requirement for “Agape” (Love of God) and hence, there’s NO reason to ‘break His Divorce cannot remarry – Rule to prove any type of love’.

Conclusion

Be a reason someone gets to know something about Lord Jesus Christ instead of being a reason for their sin, lawlessness or other law-breaking practices (e. g. being against 1 Corinthians 14:37 as a ‘Gentile believer – Context’) in Principle of 1 John 2:4 too (below):

“The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;” – apostle John (1 John 2:4, NASB)

P/S: A serious question to ponder

What if your denomination itself teaches against this biblical rule?

Perhaps that’s a reason why they don’t want to believe in the Shepherd of Hermas Book as the earliest authorities in Doctrines did from among Roman Catholicism (e. g. Tertulian , Pope Callixtus I) Alexandria (Clement, Athanasius), Lyons (Iraneous), Eastern Orthodox (being part of the Codex Sinaiticus) and others too (Justin Martyr) etc. as described in the previous write ups too.

Simple Logic: If all of them (from earliest opposing theological schools even) agree to it being True, NO point in arguing otherwise.

Example:

Shepherd of Hermas – Afterlife Judgment Visions

False Prophets – Test of Doctrines – Who is Speaking the Biblical Truth?

Expose as a Friend

We don’t kill our theological opponents but expose them.

We live and let live because God Alone Judges all One Day. Our Duty is to Warn them instead of “kissing them with false words (being truthful)”:

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.” (Proverbs 27:6, NASB)

P/S: Expose Them

“If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 6:3 – 4, NASB)

There’s nothing wrong in following apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1, 1 Corinthians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 1:10). Does your denomination follow the “Commands (not options) of the Blessed Lord delivered through apostle Paul to any Gentile believers (1 Corinthians 14:37, 1 Corinthians 11:16)?”

Example: Does your church follow and teach 1 Corinthians 14:34, 1 Timothy 2:12, 1 Corinthians 11:5, 10 or 1 Corinthians 14:26 – 32 etc. ?

Conclusion

“for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 14:33, NASB)

Please remember carefully that apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 14:33 (above) just after writing the Beautiful Chapter on Love (1 Corinthians 13, hence all this is in “Context” with “Love”) —-> and do notice carefully also that apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 14:34 just after writing 1 Corinthians 14:33 (IRREFUTABLE CONTEXT) – Opps, Can you see it?

The ‘obscure Italian monks in later centuries’ trying to put a “dot” on some copies of 1 Corinthians 14:34 indicating that they weren’t sure where to ‘place it’ (NOT remove it – please do your research ‘properly’) as they thought that it belonged to be positioned later down after about Verse 40 of this same chapter or so proves ‘nothing’ against His Holy Word (hence it doesn’t change God’s Command – isn’t it obvious?).

Please don’t be so easily deceived.

P/S: Why is the Divorce-cannot-marry Command is like that?

Please think 🤔 beyond your “sexual drive and flesh” when interpreting His Holy Word (let’s learn to have some Respect for God First).

Here’s a Deeper Explanation regarding this:

I just follow the Bible and if you want to follow otherwise just go ahead.

God doesn’t allow remarriage to a divorced simply because He is Faithful and the spouse that did no wrong is supposed to demonstrate that as well even if the other spouse has cheated and left.

In the Old Testament God divorced (or almost and reconciles back) Israel many times likewise which is the shadow for His Bride – His Church (Substance in Christ) as revealed in the New Testament .

Hence just like Christ doesn’t divorce His Church and remarry another, we ought to be likewise and His Blessed Command is to Reflect this Deep Truth too.

His Commands are Pure and Perfect.

Blessed be His Holy Name!

Peace to you

Disobeying God is not Love (John 14:15) and neither Friendship with Him (John 15:14) but Rebellion (1 Samuel 15:23).

Return – Strengthen the Brethren – NOT Weaken them with Opinions and False Teachings

(Verse in Image Teaches this – 2 Peter 1:20 too)

Also,

Here’s a Simple Question

On Judgment Day, is God going to say that you are right and the Shepherd of Hermas is wrong?

Please ponder ‘deeply’ and let us be ‘wise’.

“But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,” – apostle Peter (2 Peter 1:20, NASB)

P/S: It’s a COMMAND to Speak the “Same Biblical Truths” (and NOT an ‘option’). Verses:

“that you should REMEMBER the WORDS spoken BEFOREHAND by the holy PROPHETS and the COMMANDMENT of the Lord and Savior spoken by your APOSTLES.” – apostle Peter (2 Peter 3:2, NASB)

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all SPEAK the SAME thing, and that there be NO DIVISIONS among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 1:10, KJV)

Please remember that those who spoke “the same” as ‘apostle Paul, apostle Peter and even the Shepherd of Hermas’ are all in heaven. Let that sink in. Why should I take a risk by going against them and ‘following you’?

I’m not the cause of divisions because I embrace those Writings and according to 1 Corinthians 1:10 or 2 Peter 3:2 the one causing divisions is you because you teach ‘against’ them – isn’t it obvious?

May God have Mercy on whom He Wills!

Blessed be His Holy Name.

KINGS LOVE – evil hates

“… and there were kings among men…” – Anonymous

“and from Jesus Christ, the Faithful Witness, the First-Born out of the Dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth; to Him Who did LOVE us, and did bathe us from our sins in His BLOOD, and did make us kings and priests to his God and Father, to Him is the Glory and the Power to the ages of the Ages! Amen.” – apostle John (Revelation 1:5 – 6, YLT)

P/S: His War is for LOVE

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, … And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” – apostle John (Revelation 19:11, 16)

How?

He KILLS to MAKE YOU ALIVE

“The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol and raises up.” (1 Samuel 2:6, NASB)

“For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL DIE, so also in Christ ALL will be made ALIVE. But each in his OWN ORDER: …” – apostle Paul 1 Corinthians 15:21 – 23, NASB)

“having a HOPE in God, which these men cherish themselves, that there shall certainly be a resurrection of both the righteous and the WICKED.” (Acts 24:15, NASB)

*Two Deaths and Two Resurrections for the Wicked (the first being for Judgment) as it is discussed in Post below, to quote a little from it:

Please note carefully in John 17:2 & John 6:37, that the similar phrase contained therein means this:

“all that the Father doth give to Me” (John 6:37) = “all that Thou hast given to Him” (John 17:2) = “according as Thou didst give to Him authority over all flesh” (example in the context or subset of ALL FLESH – highlighted, John 17:2) = ALL MEN in the RESURRECTED State (meaning of ALL FLESH, 1 Corinthians 15:21 – 22, Acts 24:15).

Please note that the ‘first resurrection of the Wicked’ (explained in John 5:28 – 29) is them being raised in a PERISHABLE FLESH (1 Corinthians 15:44) of some sort for JUDGMENT in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11 – 15) —> where this FIRST RESURRECTED FLESH for JUDGMENT will be DESTROYED with THEIR SINS in the Gehenna Fires of Hades now mingled in the Lake of Fire to form the SECOND DEATH (Revelation 20:14) as the FINAL JUDGMENT toward THE DEAD (1 Peter 4:5) —–> but it doesn’t end there as their SPIRIT will LIVE TO GOD post this FINAL JUDGMENT as 1 Peter 4:6 Reveals this Secret.

So, the WICKED DEAD die TWICE (first in their temporal life and a second time in the Lake of Fire) —-> the ‘meaning of Second Death’ (Revelation 20:11 – 15, 1 Peter 4:5) ——> but will LIVE TO GOD in their SPIRIT-state thereafter as the MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST (1 Corinthians 15:22) part applies in the Context of the Resurrection of the Dead (1 Corinthians 15:21) toward a HOPE of obtaining a SINLESS non-perishable (i. e. IMPERISHABLE Body too, 1 Corinthians 15:50) as Promised to ALL MEN (1 Corinthians 15:42, 1 Corinthians 15:49, 1 Corinthians 15:22) including the WICKED too (Acts 24:15).

Apostle Paul does NOT Write about the Second Death in the Lake of Fire at all in 1 Corinthians because he is focused in the BEYOND the afterlife Judgment-part toward the END result only in that “all men who die in Adam” will be “made alive in Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:21 – 22, not immediately but post age-during Judgment in the Lake of Fire for some) —-> where “being MADE ALIVE in CHRIST” means in the FLESH of a RESURRECTED IMPERISHABLE SINLESS BODY eventually but with differing glory (1 Corinthians 15:38 – 44).
