Focus – What happens when we die?
Judgment First:
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27)
“people die in their own sins” (John 8:24), “reap what they have sowed” (Galatians 6:7) and experience “their own level of evil or wickedness done back to them accordingly” (Isaiah 3:11, Luke 12:47 – 48, Psalm 9:5, 16 – 17) during the afterlife Judgment in Hell (Luke 16:19 – 31) and also for the “time period” of the ‘age’ (Matthew 25:46) during ‘sentencing’ (Matthew 7:21 – 23, Revelation 21:8).
Escape?
Upon whom God has Mercy (Romans 9:15) in those who believe (John 3:16, John 3:18, John 16:9, John 12:44) who are Saved “without Judgment” (John 5:24)
Does it end there?
No!
Universal Reconciliation (John 3:17, John 12:47) through His Great Mercy to “ALL” eventually (Romans 11:32, definition of ALL in context is ‘ALL the world’ & ‘ALL creation’ = Romans 3:19, Romans 3:23) “during Judgment” (James 2:13) or “after Judgment” (1 Peter 4:5 – 6) by His “Act Alone”
(Romans 3:22) for these too is next during the age/ages according to God’s Will (Colossians 1:16, 20, 26, Ephesians 1:8 – 10, 1 Timothy 2:6, 1 Timothy 2:4, 1 Timothy 4:10) and “their sins” are removed “only” (1 John 2:2, John 1:29) at the point of reconciliation (‘at that time’, it’s not automatic as some err, 2 Corinthians 5:19).
A Trap:
Some think that the Bible is ‘opinions’ of the writers which is “false”. These think in that way because they then think “their opinions” are at the same level or even better than the Bible verses, which is “false” again too.
Only the Bible is “inspired” writing of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Our “opinions” are “not” comparable to His Holy Word in any way.
These that regard their “own opinions” (against verses) as best are making their “opinions” as a ‘god’ or ‘equal to God’s Holy Word in Scripture’ eating of this “SAME oldest Lie” the Devil or Satan perpetuated (in principle), namely that “you will be like god” too as the verse below ‘literally states too’:
“For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” – The Serpent/ Satan or Devil in (Genesis 3:5)
Please note that “it is written” and the “Word from the Mouth of God” is found in this ‘same’ verse (context) and proves that God’s VOICE NEVER contradicts NOR speaks against “His WRITTEN Word” (in principle):
“But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” (Matthew 4:4)
Let us “not” be deceived and trust God’s Holy Word “as it is written” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10) instead of ‘leaning on our own fallible, corrupt, selfish, Evil opinions which are against His Word’:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
Our “own” opinion is not God’s Word but sometimes God can uses imperfect men to speak His Perfect Word both in “writing & voice” too (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Samuel 23:2, Psalms 18:30, Proverbs 30:5)
