Free?
Only Christ can set one “free” (truly):
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 8:36)
P/S:
Yes, “He” can set you “free” from any kind of “slavery” (mental, emotional, etc.) especially from “sin” too (as two verses prior, He spoke it too):
“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” (John 8:34)
*committing sin is “not” freedom as the world errs greatly without “true wisdom” being caught up in “vanity” whilst doing so.
