God’s Power
God’s Power when He Alone Acts:
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27, NASB)
“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;” – God (Isaiah 46:10, NASB)
Our response should be like Job:
“I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” (Job 42:2, NASB)
Yes, it’s best understood in the ‘Biblical Context of Salvation’ where it is “impossible” for us to be saved by our wayward ways (“men”) but God can still save us despite our sins (Mercy Will triumph over Judgment, James 2:13):
“When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?”
And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:25 – 26, NASB)
Yes, even the angelic witness confirms this regarding Christ:
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” – Gabriel, Prince of Heaven (Luke 1:37, NASB)
