Good Works

Some in the world are also full of good works as Christians do but the Truth sets itself apart in this, “Love your enemies” which none can do without Christ Jesus Who is the Truth in Love.

Here’s a verse testifying to this truth:

“And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:3)

Why?
Because any deed, however great, which is not done in “Love” (even toward one’s enemies) is ’empty’ (nothing) from the heart.
