In Darkness
Eventually, in the ‘afterlife’, this will certainly happen to the ‘wicked’ (as opposed to the ‘righteous’):
“The light of the righteous rejoiceth, And the lamp of the wicked is extinguished.” (Proverbs 13:9)
A ‘wicked’ way to ‘incur’ it:
“Whoever curses his father or mother– his lamp will go out in deep darkness.” (Proverbs 20:20)
What will happen in that ‘outer darkness’?:
“Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:30)
These ‘wicked’ will also include certain “sons of the kingdom” too:
“but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:12)
They don’t know:
“The way of the wicked is as darkness, They have not known at what they stumble.” (Proverbs 4:19)
A reason?
Evil eyes:
“But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:23)
