Innocent Desires?

Don’t Burden Another for One’s Own Desires

For example:

‘When a person’s decision causes another to be in a debt which may lead to bankruptcy, that’s the “love of money” which is “evil” in the person who causes it’

Thus we must be careful never to “put or cause” a “burden” on another just because ‘we want/desire something’ be it a ‘big house, car or any other materialistic thing’.

Verses:

“And they tie up burdens heavy and hard to bear and lay them on the shoulders of men; but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 23:4)

“But He said, “Woe to you lawyers as well! For you weigh men down with burdens hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.” (Luke 11:46)

P/S:

And to make it worse, some will “deceive” by “claiming” such a “materialistic desire” to be the “Will of God” (falsely) profaning His Holy Name in the process too.
