LGBT – Q & A from a Biblical Perspective

Question 1

LGBT is a DNA thing and so it’s God’s Fault.

Reply 1

Identical DNA of Twins where One is Straight while the other is Gay is a clear disproof of the DNA Claim.

For example, it is discussed in link below:

http://myscienceacademy.org/2017/07/08/new-study-gay-people-not-born-that-way/

Conclusion: “God didn’t create anyone Gay; no one is born Gay”.

Please read more at link below:

“An important part of the current LGBT debate is the belief that sexual orientation is predetermined by biology. Therefore, if a person has no choice over whether to be gay or not, society cannot demand that he or she becomes ‘straight’. This is a sound and reasonable argument. Indeed, society cannot force people to change from something they have no control over.” (quote from a Conservative Page)

Question 2

Scientists who are involved probably failed their biology.

Reply 2

You don’t need any additional theory because it’s a basic fact that identical twins have identical DNA.

By the way, the key scientists involved are from the prestigious John Hopkins institution.

Question 3

Literally no one has found a way to change anyone’s sexual orientation and those who are homosexual are adamant that they did not choose to be gay. The fact that we don’t understand the mechanism that leads to homosexuality is utterly irrelevant.

Reply 3

One thing is sure: No one has proven that God caused LGBT and gay stuff.

His Word and Will is against it Proving that it is allowed under free choice as a curse & consequence of sin when Biblically approached.

Question 4

Homosexuality has been observed in a wide range of animals so clearly it’s a natural phenomenon. There is no benefit to condemning homosexuals at all. To do so simply results in death, suffering, family destruction and other rank evil. If Jesus was willing to defend his disciples when they broke the Sabbath – a law that the Lord God Almighty descended from heaven and carved into stone – simply so they wouldn’t suffer a few hunger pangs. The idea that his followers would then use scripture to justify condemning homosexuality given the horrific bad fruit doing so produces is absurd.

Reply 4

Demons can possess pigs too (e.g. Mark 5:13) and thus something ‘natural but so rare’ doesn’t prove that God created it that way.

The Spiritual power of wickedness has something to do with this from the realm though we don’t fully understand it (Ephesians 6:12).

Another thing is sure: There is NO more LGBT and all these sin-laden curses upon man nor creation when they are made new (being ‘set free from the decay of sin and its effects’ in its own times – Romans 8:20 – 22). LGBT is NOT part of God’s Plan and its Obvious Throughout Scripture including serious Judgment upon it. For example: Leviticus 18:22.

Leviticus 18:22 still applies in the New Testament as any Law concerning ‘sexual immorality’ (from the Custom of Moses, e.g. Leviticus 18:22) is applicable even toward Gentile believer as mentioned ‘Generally in Acts 15:29’.

Christ didn’t defend His Disciples breaking Biblical Sabbath Laws (a common fallacy) but that they broke the ‘additional man-made Sabbath requirements by tradition’. Also, even if Christ defended that, He is showing Mercy which does NOT prove that such an act was ‘not wrong’.

For Example Christ remarked concerning King David as follows:

“But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions, how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? “Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent? “But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. “But if you had known what this means, ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.” (Matthew 12:3 – 7, NASB)

The Passage above is clear that Christ points out the ‘Sabbath breaking errors of the priests’ and ‘an error of King David himself’ but the Lord says that ‘He Showed MERCY = COMPASSION’ and never said that ‘David was right & that there is no such law’.

Hence, Christ implies that His Disciples being ‘priests in His Kingdom to come’ may be considered ‘Innocent Likewise’ or be ‘shown Mercy likewise’.

Question 5

It is an error to condemn people for what they do not choose and cannot change. If you want to follow in the footsteps of the legalists who put heavy burdens on people without mercy, that’s on you but it doesn’t honor God and harms his precious children. Good luck explaining to him how you thought your interpretation of scripture justified doing evil in his name.

Reply 5

I will Let God decide whether ‘they chose’ or ‘not’ regarding homosexuality.

As a former Orthodox Saint Remarked,

‘God will not ask why we sinned but why we did not repent’.

Whether a person is capable of repenting and its associated Judgment or Release by Mercy will be Determined by God Alone Who will declare it that Day (Luke 8:17, 1 Corinthians 4:5).

But His Law is Clear in His Word and Disobedience to it knowingly will incur Judgment accordingly (Galatians 6:7, Hebrews 2:2).

“For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. For if the WORD spoken through ANGELS proved UNALTERABLE, and EVERY TRANSGRESSION and DISOBEDIENCE received a just PENALTY, how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,” – Anonymous (Hebrews 2:1 – 3, NASB)

P/S:

Remark 1

Love the argument how homosexuality is natural in the animal kingdom.

Reply 1

That’s a joke indeed with a few ‘debased animals’ doing it which proves that animals can be under the control of spiritual wickedness as quoted prior if seen in Biblical Context in say Mark 5:13.

Mark 5:13 further highlights how Christ ‘allows the demons to do so’ and does NOT command it toward them to do so. If you read Mark 5:13 carefully, you see that it is the ‘demon’s own free choice’ to ‘kill the pigs after they enter them’.

Remark 2

No need explanation from the Bible la Jon. Question is are we trying to be animals? kucing lepas buang air dia buat apa? Haaa tiru la…

Reply 2

That’s a good point too, as ‘being like an animal’ is their best defense after their ‘DNA’ claim is shred.

Here’s a Beautiful Remark:

Poppa didn’t make mistakes and then call the behavior sin. Neuroplasticity Science is now showing that thoughts create proteins and brain matter. When people repeatedly dwell on the same thoughts, they create new “trees” called dendrites, and those become pathways of behavior and also create the non-conscious “heart”, as the Bible calls it. The good news is that these toxic trees can be destroyed with intention and practice. I’ve met many people who once practiced homosexual behavior and have reconditioned their minds to align with God’s purpose and purity.

Peace to you
