“All” (not some) in Asia have left me
Interesting.
How many really are the Ekklesia?
God knows.
“This you know: All those in Asia have turned away from me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.” (2 Timothy 1:15)
A gentle reminder.
How many were saved the last time the world was destroyed by water? 8 souls.
“And God did not spare the ancient world–except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when He destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood.” (2 Peter 2:5)
Point?
The remnant is indeed very few and it may not be as many as we may like to think.
Yes. These spirits which were disobedient from the time of Noah waited a long time in prison before He came and preached to them as the verse below states (there is hope but it may be after a long time):
“After being made Alive, He (Lord Jesus Christ) went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,” (1 Peter 3:19 – 20)
Lastly, I repeat, “8 out of the whole world’s population” at that time must be a pretty small number.
