Perfect?

What is being “perfect” from a Christian perspective?

If any Christian talks about being “perfect”, please remind him that God is “not” talking about being more “successful money-wealth wise” (hence, they’re looking at the “wrong sign”)  but rather the opposite, namely, “give away everything” as this verse states:

“Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” (Matthew 19:21)

Almost entire Christianity believes, teaches and is heading toward the ‘opposite’ direction of “non-perfection”.

It’s intrinsically implied here that the “more toward perfection” in Christ one wishes to “obey” (Love), the “more one has to give away”.

That’s why Lord Jesus Christ alone is Perfect for He alone gave up ‘everything’ including descending into Hades (Hell) itself to ‘Save the World’.
