A possible allegorical interpretation

An allegorical look at the gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh which were presented to Lord Jesus Christ for His Birth.

Why these gifts?

It could be that,

“Gold for He is the King of kings”.

“Frankincense for He is the High Priest in the order of Melchizedek”.

And,

“Myrrh for His Sacrifice at His Cross through His Death to take away the Sin of the World!”

The Saviour was Born to Save us All.

Yes, God became Man to Save the World; the Perfect Act of Love.
