Quoting non-Christians
A lot of Christians have this wrong idea that we ‘cannot put up quote by non-Christians’.
Such prejudice and bigotry is “not” Scriptural.
Please allow me to explain.
What does the Bible say?
Well, the bible records apostle Paul quoting the ‘non-believing poets’ in the following verses as being ‘right’ for these two quotes only:
“For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’.” (Acts 17:28).
So, the only thing to worry is
(1) ‘not who we quote’
but whether
(2) ‘what we quote’ is “correct” or not (that, only God judges each man accordingly).
Warning:
Please be ‘careful’ of what you ‘quote’ since it’s also written that:
“But I tell you that for every careless word that men shall speak they will be held accountable on the day of Judgement.” – Lord Jesus Christ in (Matthew 12:36)
“So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.” – apostle Paul in (Romans 14:12)
