His Reign – Reign to the ages of Ages or Forever and ever?

What does is mean by Christ reigning to the ages of Ages?

Reign is to the Ages, not forever

Because It is written that He reigns “until” (we ‘reign’ with Him toward this purpose) He has ended all authority, power (1 Corinthians 15)

The “reign” to subdue all enemies and make them “subject” to Him is not forever because it will “end” when this Purpose is achieved.

The increase of His Kingdom will have “no” end after all things have been subjected to Him, And God becomes “all in all”

When subjected and reconciliation is done, His Kingdom increases without end by Love and not by reign, willingly

*Please note that Scripture is clear that the “reign” is to put “Enemies” under His feet, this not applicable when enemies have “ceased”.

Also we, believers “reign” With Him to achieve that. He doesn’t reign over us because we are not enemies and have subjected in Love

“For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.” (1 Corinthians 15:25)

“and He shall reign (Verb) over the house of Jacob to the ages; and of His Kingdom (Noun) there shall be no end.'” (Luke 1:33)

*The word “till” signifies the ‘end’ of the “Reign” —> till “His Enemies” are “no” more (This is the Beautiful Purpose of His Reign as 1 Corinthians 15:25 clearly implies)

Notes:

The “act of reigning” (Verb) comes to an “end” —> “till” all the “Enemies” are made “subject” to Him (eventually, ‘cease being enemies’)

And thereafter, God becomes “all in all” (filling all Creation fully according to His Will Perfectly) —> sin, evil, darkness, death, all ‘no more’

Creation perfected, continues in His “Kingdom” (Noun) —> without “end” (“increase” from Glory to Glory as His Will is achieved – God’s Sovereignty by His Act alone in the ‘End’)

As Christ reigns, we may join with Him as He Wills (Revelation 22:5) –> reigning is toward the “Enemies” only (1 Corinthians 15:25, context)

To make them “subject” to Him eventually (become “Enemies” no more –> meaning of “subjection”):

“then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He (Lord Jesus Christ) has abolished all rule and all authority and power.

For He (Lord Jesus Christ) must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.” (1 Corinthians 15:24 – 25)

The “Enemies” put under Christ’s Feet equivalently, all subject to the Father when the Son Subjects Himself as it is written plainly in verses below:

“For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.

When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.” (1 Corinthians 15:27 – 28)
