Secrets and Mysteries

Why does God have secrets & mysteries?

For His Glory when revealed;

Please consider the following interesting verses regarding secrets/mysteries regarding God:

“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons to the age, that we may observe all the words of this law.” (Deuteronomy 29:29)

“Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.” (1 Corinthians 4:1)

“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:12)

“Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.” (John 13:7)

“If you seek her (wisdom) as silver
And search for her (wisdom) as for hidden treasures;

Then you will discern the fear of the LORD
And discover the knowledge of God.” (Proverbs 2:4 – 5)

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)
