The Last Great Deception: Signs and Wonders
Many are deceived and will be deceived for this one reason alone:
‘They will go after signs and wonders’ instead of ‘knowledge & wisdom’.
Indeed, the ‘antichrist’ will do the same:
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,” – apostle Paul (2 Thessalonians 2:9)
“for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 13:22)
Get ‘knowledge’ if not:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” (Hosea 4:6)
Get ‘wisdom’ too:
“The first thing is wisdom — get wisdom, And with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7)
P/S:
Example of a false sign & wonder: ‘fortune telling’ by modern prophets inside the church falsely calling it as prophecy.
Please make sure it’s truthful for ‘many prophets’ (who claim that ‘we prophesied in Your Name’) may actually hear His Great Denial on that Day:
“Many will say to Me on that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:22 – 23)
Moral of the story: Sign & wonders (e.g. ‘prophecy, casting out of demons and even other miracles’ —> read carefully —> as mentioned in the verse above) does NOT necessarily approve anyone even if it is done in “His Name”.
I hope you understand.
Notice: No one is denied for “knowledge & wisdom” in “His Word”.
This old saying remains true:
‘There is “no” man of God who does not know the True Word of God’
Who knows? (Just a thought; not a doctrine)
An ‘eternal hell revival’ within or without Christianity may be enough for the Antichrist to turn men into lawless beasts especially in evil suspicions, betrayal and the slaying of one another ‘to save oneself’ (selfish) in a promise of ‘paradise’ (motivated by self gain alone).
Since Christ’s doctrine is ‘selfless’, the Antichrist’s doctrine must be ‘selfish’ (or self-based –> the exact opposite to His Holy Will to ‘Save the World’).
