“Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,” (John 11:25)
We will live even into the coming age while those who die without Him will descend into the ‘darkness’ and may be ‘tortured’ by ‘their own gods’ whom they trusted.
Only God can ransom them back from this power of Hell but usually it’s never immediate since ‘one will reap what they have sown first’.
These “gods” have their ‘dominion’ over those who profess to follow them. That’s the ‘worst’ lesson which will eventually reveal the truth about ‘what they believed and followed’ beyond the ‘false sugar coating’. Our choice determines that (‘reap what you sow’):
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” – apostle Paul (Galatians 6:7)
As it is also written that:
“No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” – apostle Paul (2 Corinthians 11:14)
