Yes, God both wounds & heals through His agencies as it is written:

“‘See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.” (Deuteronomy 32:39)

P/S:

The “final proof” of “Who is God?” will be “Hell” itself for only the “Living God” has the Power to Destroy both “Death & Hell” itself demonstrating His Love in action “to Save the World” (converting His enemies back to Him) at the “ends of the ages” which are coming.

That’s a Purpose for “Wounds” too because “correction” is part of “Love” since “Love does not rejoice with evil (including lies & falsehood).”

Remember, the “wound” hurts because of the “lie” and only His “Truth” can cause the required “Healing”.

Truth does “not” hurt if understood correctly; the “lie” hurts you when truth is revealed.

Another fact: One Day, God Will reveal which ones were lies and which is His Truth causing an end to all “human wars” as it is written beautifully too:

“And many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For the law will go forth from Zion
And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.” (Isaiah 2:3 – 4)
