You Lost

Lose – never look down.

Never look down on someone who has lost.

Why?

“you’ve won today because someone has lost”.

P/S:

This has been a factor about competitions which always “disturbed me deeply”.

Here’s the “whole story”:

Winning or losing is not the matter.

The crux of the matter is (compare):

(i) Winning or losing for the “wrong” reasons (bad; not to be emulated).

(ii) Winning or losing for the “right” reasons (good; to be emulated).
