How do you know the true character of a person?
I preach to them Bible Verses first.
Because the Bible is Truth (God’s Word). Next, I observe how seriously they respond to It.
If they respond to it well, they are putting God First.
If they don’t bother or are more interested in worldly, fleshy, wealth, and self-pursuits, I respect their choice and don’t force the Bible upon them.
The Best Character for a Christian to have is one that is obsessed with the Bible and God’s Word.
Remember, it’s a good test prior to marriage too because:
‘If they don’t listen to God’s Word, they are not going to listen to you’
The worst wife any Christian can have is one who is least interested in the Bible and most interested in their own selfish ambitions & who practices things against Biblical Teaching such as ‘not wearing a veil whilst praying’, ‘one who dresses like a prostitute’, etc.
Some Christians are even surprised that the Bible Teaches the Rules above. Here are those example Verses for edification:
1) Not wearing a veil whilst praying
“Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ. But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for she is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved. Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.” (1 Corinthians 11:1, 5 , 10, NASB)
God still answers their prayers though we are disobedient because God is Good.
2) Dressing like a prostitute/harlot
“And behold, a woman comes to meet him, Dressed as a harlot and cunning of heart.” (Proverbs 7:10, NASB)
Some people will claim that we cannot judge a book by its cover which is generally true.
In some cases especially when there is a Bible Verse such as the above, I will believe the Bible Verse “only” because everyone is biased into trying to claim that they are good.
Please note carefully that the dressing style reveals more of their heart in Verse above.
Yes, the Verse ties up the ‘dressing like a prostitute attitude’ to demonstrating a person with a “cunning heart”.
God’s Word doesn’t lie, humans lie.
What if some Christian says that such is an Old Testament Verse?
Here is a New Testament Verse:
“Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments,” (1 Timothy 2:9, NASB)
3) Rebellious and like to go out to be seen by men
Such women prefer spending a lot of time in ‘public spaces whilst wearing a prostitute like attire (previous Verse, Proverbs 7:10, Context)’ to ‘parade their body’ to gain the ‘attention of men’ as the (next) Verses Describe:
“She is boisterous and rebellious,
Her feet do not remain at home;
She is now in the streets, now in the squares,
And lurks by every corner.” (Proverbs 7:11 – 12, NASB)
The Best Biblical Wife is a Prudent Wife as Described in Proverbs 31. She is so Rare that the Bible Asks:
“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” (Proverbs 31:10, NIV)
Or in another Translation:
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” (Proverbs 31:10, KJV)
So if you find a Woman putting God-First Truly by Obeying His Word (the Bible “Verses” First), please by all means, marry her.
If we want to be respected, we must first do things worthy of being respected first. We cannot demand to be respected say whilst behaving like a prostitute.
Your turn, please show me Verses justifying your claim?
(no verses support your position – can you see it?)
Yes, I prefer God’s Holy Word (the Bible) over the opinions of half-naked prostitutes who are only there when they need money or have needs.
When you lose your money bro, these type of girls will leave you. Please don’t be deceived.
Who Decides the Rules?
God, as the Bible Verses for ‘each claim made’ demonstrates above.
Let’s Respect God by obeying these Bible Verses first. If we cannot obey, please don’t expect any respect in return as we only reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7).
“Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30, NASB)
And, would you teach your daughter to dress like a prostitute?
Would you enjoy seeing all the teenage boys & perverts examining her body whilst she dresses like that?
Last but not least, the girl speaking against these Verses is NOT the woman praised in Verse in Image, Please let that sink in.
Peace to you
