Good: “not” to touch
How about ‘touching’ across the gender for prayer, hugging, or even shaking hands etc? (for example, in church):
“Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.” (1 Corinthians 7:1)
I know that it’s a tough one but the Word is clear when it’s talking about “touch” only in the verse above.
It got me thinking.
People can ‘argue’ or say whatever they want (according to their own opinions) but only His Word is Truth.
I don’t ‘dare’ to add/remove or manipulate any ‘context’ or ‘additional meanings’ to the word ‘touch’.
Lastly, quoting examples of men (even if it’s from the Bible – though I’m not aware of it) who did otherwise only proves them as “not so good”.
His Word defines Holiness to its Purest observance too (truth).
