Knowledge and Wisdom (A note)
Wisdom is also closely linked to intelligence as the Bible “literally” teaches:
“In the heart of the intelligent wisdom doth rest. And in the midst of fools it is known.” (Proverbs 14:33)
Note: Multi-intelligence may affect a well rounded wisdom rather than just a highly specific wisdom in a singular field which could result in a one-way wisdom of thought (conjecture).
Knowledge is also closely linked to intelligence as the Bible “literally” teaches:
“The heart of the intelligent seeketh knowledge, And the mouth of fools enjoyeth folly.” (Proverbs 15:14)
Note: In both Proverbs 15:14 & Proverbs 14:33, we find that the Bible accurately describes “intelligence” with respect to “knowledge & wisdom” to be closely related to the “heart” and “not” the mind (mysterious).
In my opinion, I think it differentiates between “true intelligence” (stemming from the heart) & the “error-filled intelligence” (stemming solely from the mind).
What’s error-filled intelligence?
Memorizing facts & figures as well as being very good in a skill due to “practice” (of the mind) more than the “feel” (of the heart) – another conjecture.
Can you “feel” it?
In conclusion:
“To the wise in heart is called, ‘Intelligent,’ And sweetness of lips increaseth learning.” (Proverbs 16:21)
