Some Gentiles – Greater Faith than Israel
The inspired author of Hebrews takes “Son” in Psalm 2 as “Lord Jesus Christ” & it agrees to the article above (Hebrews 5:5, Hebrews 1:5).
In both of these, the traditional Jewish interpretation refers to the nation of Israel as the son.
I rather choose to believe the author of Hebrews against traditional Judaism.
Cheers
Please remember, that some Gentiles have “greater faith than the ones found in Israel itself” as verses below describe:
“Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.
“I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;
but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:10 – 12, NASB)
We don’t recognize Rabbinical Judaism in a similar way that you don’t recognise New Testament writings.
Let’s see in the afterlife whether Rabbinical Judaism is right or New Testament inspired Scripture is right.
