Blood of the Covenant – to save All – Final Destiny

(i) Referring Prophetically to Christ’s Shedding of His Blood

“And He (Lord Jesus) said to them, “This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.” (Mark 14:24, NASB)

(ii) The Power in the Blood of Lord Jesus Christ

Prophesied long ago to be able to ‘set free’ (“save”) the afterlife ‘prisoners’ in the ‘waterless pit’ (Hell itself, remember the rich man?) in verse below:

“As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.” (Zechariah 9:11, NASB)

*The Interlinnear images show that the NASB translation is accurate for this verse.

(iii) It doesn’t end there

Yes, by ‘His Blood’ (please note this phrase in verse below) —-> He Will Reconcile All things (Context, ‘all created things’, Colossians 1:16 including the “invisible” too, e. g. the ‘afterlife punishment regions of the ‘Unseen Realm of the Dead’ (Sheol) too’) —-> back to Himself, eventually all “as it is written”:

“and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace by the blood of His cross through Him, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens.” (Colossians 1:20, BLB)

Conclusion

The Effect of Grace is Greater than All Condemnation & Sin eventually:

“The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal (age-during) life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:20 – 21, NASB)

P/S:

In Mark 14:24, is it ‘all or many’?

No difference because it’s the same meaning in Holy Scripture namely,

“all who sinned” = “as many who have sinned”

As the verses (below) clearly prove this understanding by ‘stating the SAME meaning’ through the usage of the words ‘all or many’ (please note these words in verses below)

“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—” (Romans 5:12, NASB)

“But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.

For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.

For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.” (Romans 5:15 – 19, NASB)

Regarding the Effect of Christ’s Atonement by “His Blood” for the sins of the Whole World ‘taking it away!’, eventually (Context):

“Who (Christ) did give Himself a Ransom for all — the testimony in its own times –” (1 Timothy 2:6, YLT)

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2, NASB)

“The next day he (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29, NASB)

Blessed be His Holy Name for the Unselfishness of God is Revealed through Lord Jesus Christ’s Act to Save the World including us too!

As even the ‘Outcasts’ (the Samaritans, whom some of the ‘Jews looked down upon & sometimes consider as dogs’) were among the first who received this Great Truth:

“and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.” – Samaritans (‘Outcast’, John 4:42, NASB)

In 1925 Sadhu Sundar Singh wrote, “If the Divine spark in the soul cannot be destroyed, then we need despair of no sinner… Since God created men to have fellowship with Himself, they cannot for ever be separated from Him… After long wandering, and by devious paths, sinful man will at last return to Him in whose Image he was created; for this is his final destiny.”
