Law – Do we want to Fulfill the Law?

Yes, ‘Love’ is ‘the other’ more ‘Excellent Way’:

“But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way. If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.” – apostle Paul (Consecutive Verses in 1 Corinthians 12:31, 1 Corinthians 13:1, NASB)

Can practicing Love Fulfill the Law?

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” – apostle Paul (Romans 13:8, KJV)

Example: ‘Love’ (“Agape”) does NOT chase a person away from his/her house especially when a person turns to us for such a help.

We cannot help ‘everyone’ due to our limited strength and resources but each of us could help at least one person each time.

Isn’t that what it means to ‘practice Christianity’?

Love > Law.

Love of God (“Agape”) which eventually forgives and keeps no eternal record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:5) > ‘anything else’ including the Law which relates to ‘Faith’ too (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Really?

Those Verses:

“LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps NO RECORD of WRONGS. And now these three remain: faith, hope and LOVE. But the GREATEST of these is LOVE [“Agape”].” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 13:4 – 5, 13, NIV)

Note:

“Judgment” = ‘record of wrongs’, it exists.

But

“Judgment” cannot be eternal simply because His LOVE (Agape, the LOVE of God) eventually comes in and does NOT ‘Keep any record of wrongs anymore’ as 1 Corinthians 13:5 above clearly implies ‘as it is Written’.

Hence, God’s LOVE is the GREATEST (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Can we see it?
