I’ll show you an OT verse describing this same ‘traits’ (of money making) in ‘false teachers/doctrines’:

“And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land (people) that is not cleansed, nor rained upon (shown mercy) in the day of indignation. There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests (leaders) have violated my law (Word), and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean…” (Ezekiel 22:23-26)

Note the points of literal interpretation:

1. “they have taken the treasure and precious things” (their ‘prophets’ have taken the ‘money’ or things which are ‘convertible to money’ for their ‘work of God’ underlining their ‘conspiracy’)

2. “Her priests (leaders) have violated my law (Word)” [ it’s obvious that the literal command of Christ (His Word) to take “no money” will be ‘literally’ violated]

3. ” they have put no difference between the holy and profane” ( a good example would be the doctrine of eternal hell. They would scream ‘in pity’ for a ‘cat falling into the drain’ but will have no ‘remorse’ for ‘sadistic torture in an eternal hell’ which has always been profane to the True God of the Bible). Universalism in Christ is not “profane” because if you sin, you’ll be punished in hell but not in sadistic torture when Christ sentences you. It is for purification/refining in the fire to destroy the evil in your nature. Christ Saves you in the end of your ‘time’ by restoring ‘life’, healing, reconciliation by His Love. The “current sadistic torture” is done by the “fake gods & demons” who will do so until their appointed time (the end of this age).

4. “neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean…” [ for an example, they will call non-believers being cooked in an eternal hell as well deserved or ‘fair’ – this is clean for ‘them’. Also they will call the plan of God to punish to destroy evil/sin and eventually save the ‘life itself’ to be restored again as ‘unclean’.]
