Money Matters – Rich or Poor? – Doesn’t Matter

Must we expect Money from God as a blessing?

No, no money expectations from God. A Verse (for this “New Testament Times” – Context):

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:19 – 21, NASB)

What to do if we end up being rich by NOT pursuing it in the first place (by just doing what we do and God blesses it)?

“… If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.” (Psalm 62:10, NASB)

P/S: Never Pursue or Desire Riches (as it is Commanded in “New Testament Times” – Context in Verse below):

“But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.” – apostle Paul toward any Gentile believer via evangelist Timothy (1 Timothy 6:9, NASB), A True Evangelist of God is thus supposed to ‘preach this’ & ‘not against it’ – Can you ‘see’ it?

Please note the phrase:

“those who want to get rich” (1 Timothy 6:9) = We CANNOT Expect Riches or Money from God and NEITHER pursue it in the Name of Faith in New Testament Times.

We are to just do what we do. If it happens, it happens and if not, it’s ok as well as the Rule is “Contentment” regardless of being ‘rich or poor’:

“Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in WHATEVER CIRCUMSTANCES I am. I know how to get along with HUMBLE means, and I also know how to live in PROSPERITY; in any and EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE I have LEARNED the SECRET of being FILLED and going HUNGRY, both of having ABUNDANCE and SUFFERING need. I can do ALL THINGS through Him [Christ] Who strengthens me.” – apostle Paul (Philippians 4:11 – 13, NASB)

The above is the ‘True/Proper Context’ regarding the MEANING of this infamous phrase —-> as this is the TOPIC apostle Paul is referring to when he was inspired by God to pen this —> “I can do ALL THINGS through Him [Christ] Who strengthens me” —-> Do we really ‘understand’ and ‘respect’ the Word of God by Preaching it thus?

Please remember that two people can have ‘about’ the same level of qualification and skill but one can be highly paid whilst the other lowly paid due to ‘unfairness, racism etc.’ or just that the ‘low-wage taking one is not interested in exploiting anyone nor greedy’ (An act of ‘giving’ too if you ‘understand’ it in ‘principle’).

Let us be ‘Wise’.

It’s time we preach Biblical Truth only which is not mingled with our desires in the flesh.
