Secret of the Princes

(i) Created princes

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” (Psalm 146:3)

(ii) Satan, (the prince of this world) is Judged by Him

“Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:11)

(iii) A notable prince among men, Jacob (whose name was changed to “Israel”):

“And he saith, ‘Thy name is no more called Jacob, but Israel; for thou hast been a prince with God and with men, and dost prevail.‘” (Genesis 32:28)

(iv) The prince (of darkness) in the ‘air’ deceives anyone who is ‘disobedient’ (to Christ)

“in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.” (Ephesians 2:2)

(v) Some princes *think* they are ‘a god’ and this was their ‘punishment/end’:

“Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you did set your heart as the heart of God—” (Ezekiel 28:2)

“therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.

They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the death of those who are slain, in the heart of the seas. Will you yet say before him who kills you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.

You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.” (Ezekiel 28: 6 – 10)

(vi) The battle of the ‘princes’ in the ‘heavenly realm’ occurs as the instance below describes:

“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.” (Daniel 10:13)

(vii) The True Prince and God is Lord Jesus Christ:

“The Prince of Life you put to death; but God has raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses as to that.” (Acts 3:15)

“this one God, the Prince and the Saviour, hath exalted with His right hand, to give reformation to Israel, and forgiveness of sins;” (Acts 5:31)
