The Ultimate Secret

The Ultimate Secret

Is to “understand” the “Will of God”.

It’s the ‘Key’ to ‘understand All of Scripture’ with the ‘right explanation’ as the verse below reveals:

“because of this become not fools, but — understanding what is the will of the Lord,” (Ephesians 5:17)

What is the “Will of God” regarding “Salvation” with Holy Scripture testifying to each aspect?

(i) God Wills that none should perish (remain thus permanently) but rather that “All” should come to repentance (eventually)

“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

(ii) Not desiring the death of the wicked (permanently)

“Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?” (Ezekiel 18:23)

(iii) If God doesn’t take pleasure in the death of the wicked (as the verse above states) & God Will eventually do “all” His Pleasure (as the verse below states), in principle too, Hell cannot be eternal right?

“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;” (Isaiah 46:10)

(iv) The “Will of God” requires the ‘Gospel be preached to the dead’, ‘they be judged (in Hell) according to the flesh’ but finally returning to ‘live to God’ in the ‘spirit’:

“For to this end the Good News (Gospel) was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but live as to God in the spirit.” (1 Peter 4:6)

Note: (the verse above doesn’t refer to believers but in reference to the ‘spirits in prison’ in the afterlife in 1 Peter 3:18 – 20 as the ‘first occurrence’ and not the ‘only occurrence’ of it is recorded in Scripture, as confirmed by the ‘generalisation’ of it in 1 Peter 4:6).

*believers don’t come under judgment but pass into “age-during life” as the verse below makes it clear

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has age-during life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” (John 5:24)

(v) It’s the “Will of God” for ‘all men’ to be ‘saved’ & come to the knowledge of the truth eventually through Him alone:

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 12:32)

How? God Will do it through Lord Jesus Christ & Paul clearly writes that ‘this belief’ is ‘central to truth itself even the reason for him being appointed an apostle who speaks this truth’ as the verses below so clearly state (Beautifully Revealed in Holy Scripture):

“This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

Who Will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper times.

For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” (1 Timothy 2:3 – 7)

Note that the phrase ‘testimony given at proper times (plural)’ means all these will be “fulfilled” in the appointed “times” (‘kairois’ or divine moments) as God Wills.

The Conclusion is Inevitable & we are “commanded” to both “prescribe” & “teach” these things:

“It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance.

For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

Prescribe and teach these things.” (1 Timothy 4:9 – 11)

P/S:

Hell Will be Destroyed

There are things which “God has Willed” and will “not” repent of it; the phrase “not” repent of it means that “He Will bring it to pass without ever changing His Mind about it” (God doesn’t change).

“God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?” – (Numbers 23:19)

Here’s an example of such an explanation of a Verse:

The “occupants” in “Hell” which is part of Sheol (Hebrew: Sheol, Greek: Hades) will ‘not’ be destroyed (cease to existence) together with Hell but rather will be “ransom”-ed (“saved”) by “Him” as the ancient prophecy below resounds:

“From the hand of Sheol (Hades, Hell) I do ransom them, From death I redeem them, Where is thy plague, O death? Where thy destruction, O Sheol (Hades, Hell)? Repentance is hid from Mine eyes.” (Hosea 13:14, YLT)

“I will ransom them from the power of the grave (Sheol, Hades, Hell); I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O (Sheol, Hades, Hell), I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.” (Hosea 13:14, KJV)

Two such things mentioned in the verse above (Hosea 13:14) of which “God Will bring it to pass” (‘not repent’ of, the verse contains this equivalent phrase) are:

(i) Hell (Sheol, Hades, Unseen Realm of the Dead) will be “destroyed by Him, ceasing to exist” (phrase: ‘I Will be thy Destruction’)

(ii) Hell’s “occupants” will be “ransomed” by “Him” (agreeing with 1 Timothy 2:4,6 too) and not destroyed together with Hell.

“Who (God our Saviour) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

“Who (Christ Jesus) gave Himself a ransom for all (not for some or believers or an availability only), to be a testimony (become true) in due times (different divine times appointed for their Salvation).” (1 Timothy 2:6)

*These “punished ones” (in Hell, Hades, Sheol) are ‘not’ believers since believers don’t come under Judgment & are promised to be “redeem”-ed from “Death” (be it the second death) too by “Him” (God) in Hosea 13:14 (worth pondering deeply) agreeing to the ‘prophecy’ below that even “Death” (all death, including the 2nd death too, which are all ‘enemies (not a friend) of God) will be “destroyed” (cease to exist) eventually as well agreeing to the quoted verse exactly:

“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” (1 Corinthians 15:26)

*(Emphasis & explanation in brackets – mine)

He Will destroy Hell and Death without “repentance” (without having “compassion” on these) at all
