Why did I publish my book with Christian Publishing House?
Why did I choose “Christian Publishing House” over other “traditional publishers”?
(In total, I had 3 traditional publishers willing to publish with me at that time of which I am grateful). Reasons:
1) Christian Publishing House via its CEO Mr. Edward D. Andrews wrote this reply (you may email [email protected] to verify it if needed) based on which I was “moved most”:
“No, we do not share with any other publisher. We are the only truly conservative Christian publisher. We have rejected many big named authors because of their liberal-moderate views. Other publishers are more about the money. … This is not to say that we publish biblically unsound books. But there are 2, 4, 6, even 12 different conservative evangelical views on every Bible doctrine. See the attached chart I made some years ago.” – Christian Publishing House (Email dated 16 May 2025 to me)
Note: This does not imply that they agree with my entire research or writing, but rather that I made my deductions and interpolations within conservative Christian thought by quoting authentic orthodox early Church Father writings as well as others without violating the traditional protestant principle of Elect salvation in any way. Yes, they even rejected best-selling authors, and so, it’s not about the number of books you sell and this speaks about the good Christian principles they follow. In terms of whether my writing is more true than theirs, or even the liberal-moderates they rejected, God will decide.
2) Christian Publishing House has plenty of books published in the areas of prophecy, theology and even doctrine from a protestant standpoint and so, they are an expert in that field (in their own way). Remember that a PhD in one denomination (say Catholic) is not recognized in another (say Pentecostal) & vice versa and so, the focus on “which is more accurate teachings” takes center stage, and I repeat, this is not to say that I am right, but let each Christian strive for it and God decide which is correct and reward that while having mercy on our errors, especially if we are humble enough to admit that we may be wrong! To claim to be teaching 100% correct God’s truth but turn out to be incorrect violates the 3rd of the 10 commandments (proving its severity), but publishing a prophesy attempt as “your own oracle is allowed by God himself” (in Jeremiah 23), as I present this in the book as well!

Book Proposal details (cut and paste here):
Dear Publisher,
Firstly, I am honoured to be reviewed by your distinguished side. This is a religious book on Biblical interpretation regarding prophecy. I am more of a ecumenical Christian with not a sip of any non-Christian religious belief nor practice. To highlight further, I only believe and practice things which are found in some Church Father’s writings especially Chiliasm ones and where they’ve differed, I make a personal choice.

This Book offers new insights to old ideas. Chiliasm Prophecy Model is resurrected from the writings of three principal legendary Church Fathers of the Christian faith: St. Irenaeus of Lyons, St. Justin of Rome (Justin Martyr) and Tertullian. New theological discoveries by the author are presented throughout the book: For example, did you know that the famous “Rapture” verse (1 Thessalonians 4:17) and the “change in twinkling of any eye” oracle (1 Corinthians 15:50 – 52) could be referring two different events which are separated by 1000 years? Sometimes the writing takes a dialogue form where the author states the questions with which he wrestles with whenever he quotes old Christian works providing insightful academic comments as well in the process. Every ancient writing quoted has never been condemned by classical Christianity and so it’s a must read for Protestants, Catholics and Orthodox alike (while some of these writings has been considered canonical Scripture by considerable parts of Christendom). A serious implication of the Chiliast prophecy “possibility” regarding the new “Non Elect Salvation” concept invented by the author is presented in light of this Model. Mysterious quotes from other Church Fathers and some renown Christians are presented together with interpretation and interpolations of difficult Bible verses to support it. This Book is not fully doctrine since we cannot be sure 100% regarding the prophecy part and rather attempts to do an honest excursion rather than a ‘Mr. Know it all’ type of attitude.

3) Question: Pitch
So you want a publisher to read your proposal? You get to pitch it to them. A one-liner, Create a single sentence that provides a memorable hook line to solicit interest of a publisher.
Reply 3
This book contains presentation in an academic style as well to confront some traditional ideas and discuss them in light of chiliasm quotes. Essays 1 to 8 are in academic style with its own references listed within (hence these are stand alone types) while Essay 9 can be removed if deemed to much as just quotes. Essay 9 is helpful in viewing possible non elect salvation ideas in quotes discussed. The Appendix as well can be removed if not necessary. The core content of the book stands with Essays 1 to 8.
4) Question: Topic
What is the main theme of your book? The overall topic you are presenting to your audience. (If fiction, simply state fiction.)
Reply 4
Chiliasm Prophecy Model is studied with St. Irenaeus of Lyons, St. Justin of Rome and Tertullian with interpolations on Non Elect Salvation Possibility.
5) Question: Audience
Target Market. Who is your audience? Think about who would be most interested in reading this book.
Reply 5
All adult and teen Christians because it relates to Prophecy. It can also easily reach non-Christian market due to the Non Elect Salvation Possibility interpolation. The book has already declared this part repeatedly as a “possibility” and “not doctrine” responsibly and so it misleads none to hell even if wrong.
6) Question: Promotion Ideas
Publishers rely on their authors for creative ideas to market their book. Provide list of ideas for promotion from your sphere of influence; perhaps it is a reading, a book signing, an event or another creative choice.
Reply 6
I may try to publish some portion (or chapters) of the book in a Journal. I don’t have a specific marketing budget for this coming from a financially challenged situation for now, but I can recommend sending this book for “book reviews” across several top journals which is for “free” (just like sending to a paper to a journal mechanism) and print this on the covers of the book itself. I cannot ask for book reviews as an individual as they ask for ISBN or Publisher too but a publishing company might be able to.
7) Question: Manuscript Length (Word Count)
Reply 7
Manuscript Length – (Word Count): 129815 words (including textboxes footnotes and endnotes), 415 pages (multiple spacing at 1.15, times new roman font except on content), 650 673 characters (no spaces), 781 743 (characters with spaces), 2574 paragraphs, 13 862 lines and 96 739 words (if “not” including ‘textboxes footnotes and endnotes’) with 1 long Table.

8) Similar Books
Listing similar books is important. It gives the editorial team that is reviewing your proposal some context. So do some research online and list 3-7 competitive works with title, author, publisher, and release date.

9) Question: Why and how you think it meets a need?
Reply 9
Being Ecumenical, this book fills the gap needed to promote a bond of unity between different denominations via its Chiliasm Church Fathers’ quotes which are accepted by all mainstream Christianity. This book specifically brings to light rare quotes and perspectives which may be missed by many and its Non Elect Salvation possibility part may attract back those who have left church say because they think there is no hope for a dead loved one. The honest style of presenting evidence and yet claiming I am not sure 100% will is a new style of writing because most authors tend to claim that what they write is the Christian truth with no room of thought. Some other books write lots of personal opinions with no Church Father’s quotes to support it and so this book also revives the thought and cautiousness regarding prophecy etc.
10) Question: What’s your pen name?

“Jonathan Ramachandran” is okay or “Anonymous Christian” or “both.
11) Question: Any prior publications?
Reply 11
No, since this is my first time deciding to try and publish (book or journal or both).
13) Question: Biography
Reply 13
I will give three types (varying lengths and details).
- Longest
I worked in multiple fields especially in Math Olympiad (other fields include engineering and management) but love preaching the Gospel most and also did some music compositions* by myself (I know I sound terrible, lol) as well as worked in some social work in paid and free capacities where I can. These days (since 2016), I am just freelancing teaching Math Olympiad or any School Maths too.
For example: Personally I have represented Malaysia to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2002) and failed there miserably with 1 mark (but both of the other 1 mark achievers in Malaysian Team who did not represent the country again either & did not have national top 3 ranking even but applied to the real University of Cambridge & got admitted (they worked hard later and excelled, kudos!) but I didn’t even know I could apply back then) after winning Second Place with “Full Marks” (equal to 1st place score but was judged that the first place winner wrote his subjective solutions in a better way for a 4 question 2 or 2.5 hours paper back then) in the Highest ‘Sulong’ Individual Category for the Malaysian National Math Olympiad (OMK, Olimpiad Matematik Kebangsaan) in 2002. Just a note: I think I would have dropped out of Cambridge if I would have gotten admitted for Math back then since I did not discover any new possibilities in it (looking back in retrospect).
I also got a Gold Medal and World Ranking No. 8 out of 1415 contestants in Sony’s Global Math Challenge in 2015. I have also gotten Bronze Achievement in the Malaysian National Physics Competition (in year 2000) and a Distinction in the Australian National Chemistry Quiz (Senior Division back in 2001).
Academically I have a Bsc. Actuarial Science (Hons) from UKM (2006), in SPM I scored 8 As & 2B’s (2000) and was a Bank Negara Malaysia’s Scholarship recipient to study at UKM (2003 to 2006). I have an Exam P (Probability) completed for the SOA (Society of Actuaries) paper (2005).
I am one of the official Math Olympiad Coaches for the Malaysian national Team and have also Coached Malaysia to a few Private Olympiads too apart from students into various Math Olympiads.
I also teach informal Guitar playing occasionally and study theology & baptized some of my former students as they converted into Christianity (baptism videos in social link provided, Praise God!) as well as go lake fishing if I find the time!
- Medium

- Short
Jonathan Ramachandran is a self taught theological enthusiast who loves the Chiliasm Church Fathers and tries to understand Prophecy of the Bible with their writings. He can be contacted at [email protected], runs his theology blog being a freelance missionary of tentmaker style at www.AnonymousChristian.org and lives in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia where he teaches Math Olympiad (his other passion).
14) Question: What time investment you can give to promoting it?
Reply 14
I am a freelance Math Olympiad coach but since January 2025 I also have a full time job. We can discuss this if the publisher has good marketing ideas.
15) Question: Writing Sample
(Word Count 3000) Choose a favourite section of your book, usually 1-2 chapters, that give the reviewer the opportunity to see your writing style, character development, understanding of topic and writing skills. This section uses a pre-formatted font and font size for reviewing ease (no special characters or formatting recognized). 19) Question: Abstract.
Reply 19
This book studies an entirely new concept which is non elect salvation. I invented the academic term “Non Elect Salvation” to denote this possibility. The idea is that there is a salvation outside of the Christian Salvation (which is the well known Elect Salvation) and it differs in the time which it occurs (second resurrection), the final abode (final new earth), the judgment it endures (saved by fire, purified, sanctified) and even the type of bodily resurrection (terrestrial) which entails it. The recipients of this salvation could include both fallen Christians as well as non-Christians. A structure of proof is presented based on the fundamental notion of “no prophecy is of any private interpretation” (2 Peter 1:20) where the Chiliasm Church Fathers St. Justin of Rome (Justin Martyr) and St. Irenaeus of Lyons are primarily consulted followed by Tertullian, St. Methodius of Olympus and St. Victorinus of Pettau too. Where there is difference in their writings, I prefer to stick to St. Justin and St. Irenaeus for accuracy because they are earlier and boast of a closer relationship to the lineage of the Blessed apostles themselves. A key point to note is the challenge to the popular modern view that 1 Corinthians 15:50 – 52 refers to rapture but these Chiliasm fathers seem to point to 1000 years in human body first before a change into no more flesh and blood (or angelic) at the end of the Millennial Reign and other aspects are presented to match it. This is my original research and I have not seen any other scholar viewing 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and 1 Corinthians 15:52 as two different prophecies as I learnt it from these quotes. Apart from that, I study other aspects of Chiliasm Prophecy to build a rigorous Model so that it can be considered a possibility of truth.
20) Question: Attributes and Keywords
Reply 20
Non Elect Salvation; Chiliasm; Prophecy; Patristics; Church Fathers; Elect Salvation; Book of Revelation; Irenaeus of Lyons; Justin Martyr; Tertullian;
21) Question: Graphics
Does your book require a unique, non-standard book layout and/or include graphic design elements (ie. glyphs, callout boxes, etc.)? If so, please include a sample if not already present in your Sample Chapter/Full manuscript. No.
Reply 21:
No.
22) Question: Competing titles
How does it compare to similar books already available on the market?
Reply 22:
It develops completely new possibilities with Chiliasm Prophecy but at the same time does not assert its position is right and everyone is wrong plus it quotes Chiliasm Church fathers heavily (namely, St. Justin of Rome, St. Irenaeus of Lyons and Tertullian). It also has a chapter of variety of Church history quote which is eclectic and so may be of interest to a wide range of readers. As a bonus, it also has my personal new interpolations for possibilities where if turned out true (on Judgment Day), could be new discoveries.
23) Question: Unique Features
If your book is intended for an academic audience, how does it make a new contribution to the current scholarship on this subject?
Reply 23:
The book has brand new theological interpolations not found in any other book. For example, the claim of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and 1 Corinthians 15:52 is separated by 1000 years, Baptism by Fire perspective as Spirit World Judgment with a Chiliasm touch, Post-Mortem salvation ideas different from universalism and even discusses whether Matthew 19 can be seen as a two-fold response revealing Non-Elect Salvation vs Elect Salvation. Please read the summary of the book to understand the “new” discoveries proposed as possibilities (too much to list here individually for the “my interpolations” part).
24) Question: Individuals who may be prepared to endorse your book?
Reply 24
I don’t know yet.
25) Has any Journals considered Non Elect Salvation Possibility (NESP) as something containing significant scholarship?
Reply 25
Yes. My article titled “Non Elect Salvation Possibility” has just been recently published in The American Journal of Biblical Theology, Volume 26(6), February 9, 2025.
