“It is Finished”

Part 1 – Convert or don’t convert – still die

“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities” – Voltaire

Beautifully true for all religions which taught men to kill another especially because they “didn’t convert” or because “some converted”.

Killing “evil men” (justice) due to “them committing murders too” is way different from “killing” somebody due them “not converting” or in order to maintain “your way of life”.

However, under this New Testament Covenant’s age, God has instructed true believers to “lay down their life” (as true martyrs in Christ) instead of “killing your enemies”.

Yes. Only those who love their enemies in “deed” prove themselves to be fulfilling this command of Christ the Lord in “action”.

What if men disobey?

Only punishments await mankind (well deserved).

For example, “Apollyon the Destroyer” (Revelation 9:11).

Enjoy & scream for help to “gods” who “cannot save” but taught you to “kill others”.

Part 2 – Who is Apollyon the Destroyer, king set over them from the abyss?

“The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

7The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).” (Revelation 9:1 – 11)

Why?

Simple rule for judgment (“same measure”):

You kill and enjoyed watching the killing of your enemies, so it will be meted back to you, equally.

God “never” kills any “good people” nor “punish them” as “collateral damage” when His Judgments are executed “supernaturally” (without any intervention of man whatsoever by their will not involving “supernatural powers” as such is the case with the final Two Witnesses).

Logic:

Escape?

The more severely one kills a loving person who did not intend evil toward you, the more severe the judgment meted out to you in pain; multiplied in agony at hell too.

Why?

The loving person never intended for you to be in pain but you subjected him to pain. So will “judgment be meted out to you in the same measure”.

Who will escape?

Only those who believe in Lord Jesus and do as Commanded to “Love your enemies” and “not fight against your enemies”.

Part 3 – Hope

Judgment is “not” the end.

Why?

God (Lord Jesus) will step in to Save you in your “kairos moment” (time) be it in the afterlife because He doesn’t change from being the “Saviour of all men” (1 Timothy 4:10) and also, of being the “Saviour of the World” (1 John 4:14).

Part 4 – Love (the Greatest of All)

How?

“He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. “(Psalm 103:10-14)

Why?

God Will eventually “forgive all” (mystery of Christ) because only Lord Jesus Christ did “not” require vengeance even in “utmost pain & injustice” but rather stunned the world by requiring “forgiveness” to be the “final result of His Death at His Cross”.

His Final Words:

“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34)

“It is finished” (John 19:30)
