Why Are Rules Important In Being Righteous?
A verse:
“An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” (2 Timothy 2:5)
This is a reason why say “charity works” or ‘faith’ belonging to ‘wicked men’ may “not” be entertained at all by the Living God or those without “belief in Him” (which reveals the ‘true intent of any heart’).
P/S:
When one does “not” follow ‘God’s Rules’, it merits ‘disqualification instead’. May God have Mercy!
Remember this ‘test’,
“The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’S throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.” (Psalm 11:4)
even of the ‘hearts’ (true intent):
“The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests hearts.” (Proverbs 17:3)
and ‘never be violent too’ because,
“The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates.” (Psalm 11:5)
