Ages – Beginning and End

Did Christ have a Beginning?

Does He have an End?

Nope. Proof verse?

“Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God [Lord Jesus Christ], He remains a priest perpetually.” (Hebrews 7:3, NASB)

What does this verse (below) mean then? Does it imply that He (the Christ) has a Beginning and an End?

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:13, NASB)

It doesn’t mean that He has a Beginning or an End as Hebrews 7:3 clearly mentions with regards to Him “having neither beginning of days” —-> “nor end of life” —> “no Father” too (in the ‘absolute sense’).

Then, what is His Purpose of coming in the Flesh and having a Father?

Crux Purpose: ‘To Save the World’ (John 3:17) and especially believers (John 3:16) as explained in detail below with “verses” for ‘each claim made’:

He only has “God the Father” as “a Father” when He was “Begotten” (made “Flesh”) taking the ‘Form of Son of Man’ & ‘Son of God’ when He Walked the Earth for the Purpose of Revealing God’s Truth (John 1:17), to Fulfill all Law & Prophets even in the ‘context of an Obedient Son’ (Leadership by Example, Fulfilling His Own Commands too Perfectly Matthew 5:17) in order to save the World (1 John 4:14) from Sin & its corrupted effects (1 John 2:2, John 1:29, Romans 8:20 – 21) by imputing His Righteousness of God to “All” through His Fulfillment & Perfection which is the “Faith of Jesus Christ” (Romans 3:22) or the “Faith of God” (Romans 3:3) which can NEVER Fail but Will come to pass ‘eventually’ (Romans 3:4, Hebrews 2:8, Romans 4:5, Ephesians 1:9 – 10, Acts 3:21, Colossians 1:20, 2 Corinthians 5:19, 1 Corinthians 15:24 – 28) —–> where “believers are more special” (1 Timothy 4:10, 1 Timothy 2:4, 1 Timothy 2:6) —–> yes, ‘only believers’ are “saved now, in the present time” (Romans 3:26, Colossians 1:21 – 22) gaining the “age-during life” of “Rewards” (Revelation 22:12), in the “next age” too (Luke 18:30) with “no [afterlife] Judgment” at all (John 5:24, Micah 7:18, Malachi 3:17).

Thus ‘Christ having God as His Father’ is a ‘Relative Truth with respect to His Great Manifestation in the Flesh’, i. e. ‘His Incarnation’ which can be understood directly from 1 Timothy 3:16 and John 1:1 together with John 1:14 too.

Since “Beginning and End” refers to “Time”, Christ is Identifying with the Beginning of the Ages and the End of the Ages which He Himself Created (Hebrews 11:3) as the “Almighty” (Revelation 1:8) in order to Fulfill the Will of God during the ‘Specific Divine “Times”, Kairois-Plural-Times’ where it ‘becomes True’ (“testified or becomes a Testimony thereafter”) when His “Ransom” applies to “All” (1 Timothy 2:6). Verses quoted for this part:

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:8, NASB)

“by faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing;” (Hebrews 11:3, YLT)

“Who [Lord Jesus Christ] did give Himself a Ransom for All — the Testimony in its own Times [Kairois] –” (1 Timothy 2:6, YLT)

Indeed,

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each as is his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:12 – 13, BLB)

Yes:

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to Fulfill.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:17, NASB)

In short, Matthew 5:17 clearly implies that Lord Jesus Christ Fulfills the Law as the Promised Messiah (Matthew 16:16), as a Son of God (Luke 1:32), as a Son of Man (Luke 9:22), as a Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:15, Acts 3:22), as an Apostle (Hebrews 3:1), as a High Priest (Hebrews 7:17), as the Good Shepherd (1 Peter 2:25, John 10:11) and even as God, the Almighty too (Revelation 1:8).

Can we see it? Are we able to understand it?

Since Lord Jesus Christ Alone Fulfills all Law & Prophets Perfectly (Matthew 5:17) and even being ‘Sinless’ (not One Mistake whilst Doing so as well, Hebrews 4:15, 2 Corinthians 5:21) —–> He gets ‘First Place’ in ‘All things (Everything)’:

“He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He [Lord Jesus Christ] Himself will come to have first place in everything.” – apostle Paul (Colossians 1:18, NASB)

“For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face,

that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.

For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ.” – apostle Paul (Colossians 2:1 – 5, NASB)

‘If Life is a Test, Lord Jesus Christ Alone Scored the Perfect Score’ – Anonymous

P/S: The Word of God comes ‘a little here, a little there’:

“To whom would He teach knowledge,

And to whom would He interpret the message?

Those just weaned from milk?

Those just taken from the breast?

“For He says,

‘Order on order, order on order,

Line on line, line on line,

A little here, a little there.’

Indeed, He will speak to this people

Through stammering lips and a foreign tongue,” (Isaiah 28:9 – 11, NASB)

Thus, we must understand that the ‘Word of God’ is based on the ‘various parts revealed’ (in Holy Scripture only, as it is written) and —-> NOT conclude pre-maturely —-> say by ‘using a verse or two only’ —-> in order to ‘avoid being snared’ or ‘misunderstand Him’. Yes, when we ‘don’t listen’ (Isaiah 28:12), the case is described below:

“He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”

And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen.

So the word of the LORD to them will be, “Order on order, order on order, Line on line, line on line, A little here, a little there,” That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.” (Isaiah 28:12 – 13, NASB)

“The One testifying these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20, NASB)
