Aidios – Understanding Judgment

“Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.” (Proverbs 28:5, KJV)

The idea that the word “aidios” itself means that it has no beginning is not defined or implied in the Bible (except for the one occurence where it is used for God) —-> but is from classical Greek literature.

The Truth that God has “no beginning or end” (even Lord Jesus Christ, Hebrews 7:3) is seen not from Aidios but more clearly from the Greek Word “athnasian” which is translated as “immortality” where “Only God” is said to have it (nothing else, in 1 Timothy 6:16).

The fact that we obtain immortality later (when we have become incorruptible toward sin/evil e. g. 1 Corinthians 15:53) is by God filling all His Fullness into us through Christ (Colossians 1:19) till in the “End” (1 Corinthians 15:24, which is understood to be the ‘final End of the Ages which He Created, Hebrews 11:3 after which possibly timelessness begins) —> that is, after “God becomes all in all” (1 Corinthians 15:28) where all creation (Romans 8:20 – 21) is fully filled (Ephesians 4:9 – 10, Ephesians 1:23, Ephesians 1:10) and “all things” (Colossians 1:16) are “Restored” (Acts 3:21) back to Him (Colossians 1:20, 2 Corinthians 5:19).

Some scholars (as I noted Gary Amirault of tentmaker.org) also contest that even aidios may not mean purely eternal in all sense of the English word.

However, the Pharisees used that word “aidios” to teach the afterlife judgments of men which Christ did not Who used only the “singular age-aion” instead as Josephus records (and brought to light by Dr J W Hanson).

This means the punishment of men are at most to the “next age” (e. g. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which directly refers to the phrase ‘He has an unclean spirit’ which the Pharisees falsely accused Christ of).

Ages have beginning and end as evidenced by many verses in the Bible and I list various aspects in my book, Saviour of the World which is downloadable for free on the website www.AnonymousChristian.org

So, I believe aidios means eternal but the eternity of Aidios comes from God and thus implied into even the sentence (not that the sentencing existed prior to the angels even) but that the strength of that sentencing is eternal from God (utter separation of the fallen angels from Him from which holds relative to the ‘these angel’s rebellion toward Him’). I see clearly that when there’s a change in the creatures’ (in this case, angel’s) will to stop being against God, this sentence need not hold any longer.

Judgment is based on their rejection of God first to that depth (Galatians 6:7 in principle) and thus what level of rejection of God is in them, they receive it back as long as they hold on to it (in principle of Isaiah 3:11 too).

Amazingly, in the actual punishment of Satan himself in (Revelation 20:10) is stated to be “ages of Ages” (i. e. to a particular set of ‘ages’ out of a total set of “Ages”) implying it to end too instead of the “stronger Aidios” word.

Hence we can deduce that God must have reduced that sentence for even the fallen angels too (as no afterlife judgment sentence exceeds that assigned to Satan) due to His Mercy which “triumphs (ends)” rejoicingly any ‘afterlife Judgment’ after these experience ‘judgment without mercy according to what level of ‘no mercy’ one did toward others first’ as implied in James 2:13.

Here are some new write ups not found in the book which may help edify what’s stated:
