Answering Epicurus

The Problem of Evil
(Answer: Point the Blame to the Correct Source of Evil)

When a murderer does evil, it is the murderer’s fault, “not” God.

When a rapist does evil, it is the rapist’s fault, “not” God.

When a religious person does evil, it is the religious person’s fault, “not” God.

When an atheist does evil, it is the atheist’s fault, “not” God.

.

And the list goes on analogously
.

.
.

Not forgetting this “classic”:

When a baby is brought into this world with evil imperfections, it could be the fault of the parent’s sin, the “gods” their parent’s worship or to which “thing” that baby is dedicated to’s fault (several possibilities exist but it’s hard to point to which from here), but certainly “not” God*.

*There is one possibility where such imperfections are allowed upon a person from birth as Scripture records the Lord revealing it to mean “for God’s Glory” where such a one having it proves that it’s no big deal(lives for God) or receives healing at the right moment.

P/S:

God is silent because He will act when the right timing takes place (be it here or in the afterlife accordingly). He lets everyone “prove who we are first” with respect to these “destructions” (both “our response” & the “ones causing it”).

So, let us “be wise” in choosing the “correct response” toward our lives by understanding this.
