Bereans

Just like the “Bereans” who were “commended” for it as it’s written:

“Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” (Acts 17:11)

P/S:

Note that this is “far” from the common fallacy that “don’t doubt or check what the pastor or man of God is preaching”.

Why?
Please take note that the “Bible applauds” the “Berean” Jews when they “checked” whether “apostle Paul’s” preaching itself is “true or not”.

For those who are unaware, in terms of number of books in the New Testament canonization, apostle Paul wrote close to about “50% of it” and even “his preaching is checked”.

Hence, the “Bible” commends “right thinking” and after that, this attitude should be adopted:

“Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 12:57)
