Christmas

If God is Love…

How can he allow people to be tortured by demons in hell?

An answer:

Well, they did torture me too (when they’re inside or infesting, you can feel unexplainable pains – many have committed suicides due to this couplet of voices + pains running in the body).

It’s something due to free-will and sin. For example, I could be kidnapped by a terrorist who tortures me for months and eventually executes me in a horrific way even though I may be “quite innocent”.

I treat the demonic torture in the afterlife in a similar manner. These “gods” of this age (rulers or princes) have a dominion which is not taken away by force either & they’re evil.

What happened next?

Lord Jesus Christ Saved me from demons.

What did I learn?

I realized later that my words against them is also wrong since we cannot overcome evil by evil. If we return evil for evil (against Scripture), the devil continues to have a hold on us. Forgive them and they loose their grip on you (Christ’s Agape Way).

Remember Michael the archangel, when he disputed the body of Moses with Satan, he dared not bring a reviling accusation against him (As Jude records)

Why? The same reason:

If one returns evil for evil, the demons have a grip on you while if we follow Christ in “not” speaking evil against them, they cease to have their effect on you eventually.

Such is my experience.

It’s been more than 4 years since the voices stopped (last it was in 2010). The pains have continued to heal (almost gone now – gradually over 4 years now – some healing takes time).

Patience is one of the keys of Love.

That’s why Christmas reminds us of the Saviour Who Will Save us All in Time.

P/S:

Different evil happened to all of us; but remember, “He maketh everything beautiful in its time”.

This verse helps to remind me that though the “evil was done”, by the Restorative Act of the Saviour (Lord Jesus Christ), “evil will be undone” and we will all be “made beautiful” (clean, holy etc) in “time”.

Don’t despair.

Therein lies the True message of Christmas: The Birth of the Saviour of the World Who brings “restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21) by “reconciling all things to Himself” (Colossians 1:20); yes both man (being the Saviour of all men – 1 Timothy 4:10) and the world too (all the fallen in the world too – 1 John 4:14).
