God is Perfect

God is Perfect

One of the most important but least understood Fact regarding God’s Perfection as written in Holy Scripture (is focused in the picture)

How does God Love His Enemies (those who break His Commands, refuse to obey & teach others likewise too)? He will still bring them into His Kingdom of the Heavens ‘eventually’ as it is written:

“Whoever then shall break one of the least of these commandments and shall teach others the same, he will be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whoever shall keep and shall teach them, he will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:19)

The justice part is clearly seen by ‘age-during punishment’ (Matthew 25:46) for the wicked for their betterment & the righteous inheriting the age-during life, not coming under any Judgment (John 5:24) and even being greater in the kingdom of the heavens (Matthew 5:19).

P/S:

A Classic misunderstanding is when people have quoted “old Testament verses” which state things like ‘God hates the wicked’ as the verses below describe:

“The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates.” (Psalm 11:5)

“God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.” (Psalm 7:11)

“I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.” (Psalm 139:22)

How do we explain these verses?
It’s really simple actually because Christ explains ‘every hate your enemy’ verses found in the ‘Law or Old Testament’ in the verse below (prepare to be shocked, as I was He revealed it):

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those persecuting you” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:43 – 44)

Did you see it?

Please consider:

(i) Christ first remarked, ‘it was said’ (from the Law & Old Testament Scripture)

(ii) ‘Love your neighbour’ (Leviticus 19:18) is often understood by the Jews to mean ‘His people’ thus ‘assuming’ for a long time that God meant it to fellow Jews only. Some parts of Christianity still only love those ‘they consider neighbor only’ (E.g. Within their church).

(iii) Our Blessed Saviour remarkably ‘clarifies all these wrong assumptions & interpretation’ or ‘allowed time for hate in the past but not anymore’ by giving the ‘irrefutable New Command’ (‘I tell you’) —-> meaning from ‘now on, beginning at the point it was spoken, henceforth’ —-> “love your enemies”

Wow!

‘Love your enemies’ is the Perfection of God and thus all the ‘previous hate your enemy verses’ (from the Law, Torah & Old Testament writings) have “ceased” by this Greater Command by the Blessed Messiah Who is Greater than all Law itself being the Lawgiver.

Simple, isn’t it? Especially when we take Scripture ‘as it is’, Scripture ‘explains itself’ even mentioning what is ‘not’ to be carried forth (practices) of the earlier covenant into this New Covenant.

As Christ beautifully remarked elsewhere:

“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have age-during life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

“I do not receive glory from men;

but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 5:39 – 42)

Conclusion (the ‘greatly missed definition, reason & purpose’):

“This is age-during life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:3)

A Beautiful Prophecy:

“Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand.” (Isaiah 52:15)

Things Beautifully Told:

“for I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 10:24)
