Granted: To Suffer

Granted

It must be granted to “suffer for Him”.

Following Christ “never” promised “prosperity” on “earth” in this “temporal life”.

Faith is proven true when tested and tried in adversities (not in luxuries and ease).

Those who preach otherwise came to believe in Him “hoping to get prosperity”.

My point: “Prosperity” is “never” the “aim” for anyone who wishes to “take up his cross” and “follow Him”.

P/S:
So then your attitude will be like “if prosperity comes” or “if there’s no prosperity”, your “faith” remains the “same” (unaffected by “money” or “Mammon”).

P/S 2:
It’s not my opinion but rather is based on the verse below (literally):

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” (Philippians 4:12)

The “secret” to be “happy” = be “content” in “all” situations with “what you have”.

To you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. Philippians 1:29
