Judgment, One Day

Firstly, be careful of how you treat widows and orphans:

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling.” – the king with the greatest heart* among men, King David (Psalm 68:5)

He will not forget them and will also avenge those who “bullied them”:

Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien and do not fear Me,” says the LORD of hosts.” – prophet Malachi (Malachi 3:5)

Want to practice ‘true religion’?
This is what the LORD inspired:

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” – apostle James (James 1:27)

*King David is the only one revealed in Holy Scripture (till the point of writing) to have the ‘heart after God’ as this verse reveals:

After He had removed him (Saul), He (God) raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.” (Acts 13:22)

P/S:

‘In His holy dwelling’ = The Heavens

Be careful of your actions.
