The Many Including Christianity Itself

“False christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

“‘And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray;” (Matthew 24:11)

“many”

Refers to

“false prophets” & the “deceived”

Secondly, it’s the “false prophets” who will be doing “great signs & wonders” in “big crowds” (to “many” – audience & subsequently “mammon” purposes; “no” Gospel basis).

Instead stick to the “Word of God” only “for Truth”.

It’s “not” faith to go after (or seek) great “signs & wonders” (contrary to “popular preaching”). Then what is it? Proof verse? Please consider the “warning” of our Blessed Saviour Himself below:

“And answering He said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 12:39)

“As the crowds increased, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” (Luke 11:29)

*Always look for Scripture (or verses) to back “their claim”. If there isn’t any, it’s just a man’s opinion. But if they quote a Scripture for their claim, read carefully (in an accurate translation) and check whether the “Verse” is applicable or is referring to “what they’re claiming or not”.

Let’s be “wiser” in this.

P/S:

Never put one’s confidence on Truth regarding doctrines with regards to the number of people believing it. Instead, find out what exactly is written in the (Original Greek) Bible instead of translations where words are sometimes erroneously chosen which has caused considerable confusion. Best are “literal translations” for example, Young’s Literal Translation.
