Pride of Ancient Discoveries

Ancient discoveries are like the discovery of “a screw” versus the modern day discovery of an “airplane”.

Those “discoverers of the screw” often make the “loudest noise of pride” linking it to their “race/religion” while the discoverers of the “airplane” are most silent (in pride) and “never” link it to their “race/religion” (now, this is a “wise” attitude).

Hence, “retrospectively”, it makes “sense” as to why God may have allowed the ‘ancient discoverers’ to discover the ‘screw-level knwoledge only’ (over a span of thousand of years of civilization) while the modern ones to discover till the ‘airplane’ in a lesser span of say, a couple of hundred years.

Learn this wisdom in the non-canonical Book of Enoch as the “wicked fallen ones/watchers/sons of God/fallen angels” get this Judgment Sentence (for teaching evil with the ‘little knowledge’ they knew in ancient times):

From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of the giants, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement –thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great judgement in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated.”

And now as to the watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, (say to them): “You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.” Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”‘ (Book of Enoch)

P/S:

Note these phrases in the passage above:

“but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you”

and

“you knew worthless ones”

Moral of the story: Don’t be “too proud”.
