Riddle: The secret of “Time”

Simplicity in Christ

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3)

In proper times

“(and He manifested in proper times His word,) in preaching, which I was entrusted with, according to a charge of God our Saviour,” (Titus 1:3)

Especially the Jews = “of the circumcision”

“for there are many both insubordinate, vain-talkers, and mind-deceivers — especially they of the circumcision –“ (Titus 1:10)

Why do they do it? For “money” = as “dishonest gain” (and its equivalent convertibles)

“whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for dishonest gain’s sake.” (Titus 1:11)

No to “Jewish Myths”

“and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth.” (Titus 1:14)

P/S:
An example of “Jewish Myths” (as Josephus records during Christ’s era) is “eternal hell” (held by the Pharisees) and “annihilation” (held by the Sadducees).

Only then

“You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.” (Titus 2:1)

A really difficult one

“In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.” (Titus 2:7 – 8)
Salvation to “all” (not some) people in “time”.

“For the Grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.” (Titus 2:11)

How? By the Grace of God.

When will this Salvation or His Ransom for “all” (not some) take place?

“Who did give Himself a ransom for all — the testimony in its own times —” (1 Timothy 2:6)

God doesn’t Fail

As His angel prophesied, this Gospel (Good News) is for “all” (not some) people:

“And the angel said to them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For to you is born this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10 – 11)
