Why all these? A Better Resurrection
Martyrdom also is a “good thing” for those who “suffer for Christ” here will obtain a “better resurrection”.
“Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.” (Hebrews 11:35)
Good things can be extremely painful but its reward is beyond the suffering endured.
Hence evil will never win even in causing harm to the good (temporal effects only)
” The LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (Psalm 84:11)
