The Humblest One – Proof?

Why Moses?
(Is God unfair?)

Up to a point in “time” (when the words below were spoken), the below was true (relative to that “time”):

And there hath not arisen a prophet any more in Israel like Moses, whom Jehovah hath known face unto face,”                     (Deuteronomy 34:10)

But Lord Jesus said that up to that point in “time”, John the Baptist was the greatest prophet; But Christ continues that in the “future”, (i.e. in the Kingdom of God), the “least” in His Kingdom is “greater”:

for I say to you, a greater prophet, among those born of women, than John the Baptist there is not; but the least in the reign of God is greater than he.” – Lord Jesus in (Luke 7:28)

But…

John the Baptist himself said that Christ is the Greatest:

I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” – John the Baptist in (Matthew 3:11)

The author of Hebrews himself testifies by the Holy Spirit that Lord Jesus is the Greatest again:

Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the Builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.” (Hebrews 3:3)

But, again:

Why Moses?
(Is God unfair?)

Answer (secret): True humility (Numbers 12:3)

(Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)” (Numbers 12:3)

Hence, Lord Jesus proved by His Life & His Death on His Cross that He is the Humblest One!

Consider the verses below too (God Proved His Humility by becoming Man and Dying on His Cross for the Sin of the World):

“…Christ Jesus, Who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be “equal to God“, but did empty Himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made, and in fashion having been found as a Man, He “Humbled” Himself, having become obedient unto death — death even of a cross, wherefore, also, God (the Father) did highly exalt Him, and gave to Him a name that [is] above every name, ” (Philippians 2:5 – 9 – emphasized)

Note: God Proved His Humility not in Words but in Action (which is Louder than words)
