The Perfect Difference

Know Yourself: Unfair vs Fair

What’s the difference?

Let’s consider an example to understand this:

Consider an employee who works for you. If you pay him:

(i) Less than what you would have paid if he was of the same race & religion as you, you’re unfair.

(ii) Equal regardless if he was of the same race & religion as you, you’re fair.

Decide for yourselves who “you choose” to become. But be warned, we all have to give account for it on Judgment Day.

P/S:

How you treat others reveals the “real you” especially in the way one treats “his enemies” (the best revelation about anyone’s true character).

That’s why Lord Jesus Christ taught:

“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)

And especially,

“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.

He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?” (Matthew 5:44 – 47)

Why?

That’s the only way to head toward perfection since the Only Perfect Heavenly Father is “like that” as Lord Jesus summarised the “Only Reason” for us to be “different”:

“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
