What is the Right Salary and Terms of Employment?

The ‘Salary Check Question’:

How to know what salary is fair/unfair to a person? And how about the right terms of employment (e.g. number of off days etc.)?

A plausible answer:

Every Christian boss should ask himself this question when determining a salary of his worker, namely,

(i) “If I had that same qualification, experience and achievements as this employee, what salary do (I think) I deserve to be paid?”

or

(ii) “If this person with that same qualification, experience and achievements is my son/daughter/family member, what salary would I pay him (fairly)?”

The answer above is constructed (or tailored accordingly) based on this ‘Biblical Principle’:

In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:12)

*All else is “worldly” and “un-Christ like” and certainly “not” obedience to His Holy Scripture (note that we’re to “obey” that verse quoted above in “everything”, which certainly includes ‘salary determination in work’ too).

P/S:

If Christians cannot follow such Perfect Biblical Principles, how can the world do so since they don’t even believe in Him (to begin with)?
