Abundant Life

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” – Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:10)

Remember, He also mentioned that ‘life’ is “not” in the ‘abundance of possessions’ (‘Watch out!’):

“And He said to them, “Watch out! Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” – Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 12:15)

So, clearly the ‘abundant life’ Christ is talking about is “not” in ‘wealth/possessions’ but in the “fruit of the Spirit” which are:

“And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law; and those who are Christ’s, the flesh did crucify with the affections, and the desires;

if we may live in the Spirit, in the Spirit also we may walk; let us not become vain-glorious — one another provoking, one another envying!” (Galatians 5:22 – 26)
