Against apostle Paul?

‘Who are you?’ – the demons asked

After that the ‘demons’ in that “possessed” person started to beat them up (Acts 19:15 – 16). Please be warned: the same could be in ‘Hell’ (afterlife Judgment regions). Let us be wise and not question God’s authority.

Between ‘any person’ who speak against apostle Paul vs apostle Paul, I would choose to believe in apostle Paul’s Inspired Writings over their ‘man-made opinions-against-His-Holy-Word’.

“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1, KJV)

Who Endorsed Paul’s Writings? Lord Jesus Christ Himself:

“If you claim to be a prophet or think you are spiritual, you should recognize that what I am saying is a command from the Lord himself.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 14:37, NLT)

Judgement against ‘any believer’ who ‘does NOT recognize apostle Paul’s Writings’ is mentioned in the ‘next, consecutive verse’ (perfect context):

“But if you do not recognize this, you yourself will not be recognized” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 14:38, NLT)

Even the ‘demons’ know about apostle Paul. Remember? Verses:

“God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul,

so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out.

But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

Seven sons of one Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.

And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified. ” (Acts 19:11 – 17, NASB)

Conclusion

It is clear from Scripture that apostle Paul is highly endorsed by God as the ‘only’ apostle for the Gentiles and hence everything he wrote (unless he specifies as his opinion, e.g. 1 Corinthians 7:12) it is the “commands of the Lord” by default as 1 Corinthians 14:37 clearly implies in ‘all generality’. Being the apostle of the Gentiles, the commands which he delivered from the Lord applies to ‘every Gentile believer’ from any time period:

“But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,” – apostle Paul (Romans 11:13, NASB)

“For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” – apostle Paul (1 Timothy 2:7, NASB)

“But the Lord [Jesus Christ] said to him (Ananias), “Go, for he [apostle Paul] is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him [apostle Paul] how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” (Acts 9:15 – 16, NASB)

Yes, the ‘true’ Churches of God have ‘no other practice’ [the man-made excuse of culture does NOT apply as God is NOT a Respecter of any person/culture, Romans 2:11, Acts 10:34 —> especially toward those who don’t honour His Law in the first place & His Commands last to the age according to the Covenant, i.e. time now is for His New Covenant for producing Gentiles obedient to the faith too; Please see Matthew 7:20 – 23 too in the context of ‘Lawlessness’ which is breaking the ‘commands of the Lord’]

“But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God.” – apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:16, NASB)

“but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal [age-during] God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;” – apostle Paul (Romans 16:26, NASB)

“but now having been made manifest also through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the Eternal [age-during] God, having been made known to all the Gentiles unto the obedience of faith–” – apostle Paul (Romans 16:26, BLB)

“and now having been made manifest, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the age-during God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith –” – apostle Paul (Romans 16:26, YLT)

*age-during God is “highlighted” since the “commands” last to the “age” into which it is to be fulfilled. Can we see it? Can we understand it? Similar to the commands of the Old Covenant too (which some has ‘ceased’) while others are ‘allowed’ into this New Testament “age” but will eventually cease when these are ‘fulfilled’ (Its purposes) as “it is written” in verse below too:

“When He said, “A New Covenant,” He (God) has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.” (Hebrews 8:13, NASB)

“In that He saith, A New Covenant, He (God) hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” (Hebrews 8:13, KJV)

Let us not be deceived by “jews” (‘especially those of the circumcision’) who teach contrary to these things:

“For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,” – apostle Paul (Titus 1:10, NASB)

May God have Mercy upon those who rise up against God’s Authority in Divine Scripture especially the ‘Gentile believers’ who teach or speak against apostle Paul (knowingly or unknowingly) because God Will Judge the Gentiles [context Romans 2:14] according to the Gospel delivered to apostle Paul ‘only’ (Romans 2:16 quoted below too):

“on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.” – apostle Paul (Romans 2:16, NASB)

Let us not be deceived otherwise.

‘Opps, no verse at all which says what you claimed. I will not follow your opinions against what apostle Paul wrote which is inspired Scripture’ – Anonymous

Apostle Paul’s authority in his instructions too is “by the Lord” [endorsed] in 1 Thessalonians 4:2

Test of hearts?

Is by “speaking according to the Gospel” and NOT against it as 1 Thessalonians 2:4 implies.
